CPMS WARRIOR TRACK: ATHLETE CODE OF CONDUCT
I AM RESPECTFUL. I AM A WARRIOR. I AM A CHAMPION!
I AM: RESPECTFUL TO MY COACHES: All of the track coaches take a lot of time to plan and spend with me and my teammates. Their goal is to make me the best I can be and try to push me to the next level of competing. They want me to be the best person I can be on and off of the field. What they say goes.
I AM: RESPECTFUL TO MY TEAMMATES: The other athletes that share my uniform have worked just as hard as me, if not harder, to be here. I will respect their talents and opinions and do my part to build a family amongst my teammates.
I AM: RESPECTFUL TO MY TEACHERS: My teachers have a very difficult job, but ultimately want me to learn in the classroom skills that I will need for the rest of my life. I will respect them for the time they spend preparing lessons and I will act appropriately while in my school & classroom.
I AM: RESPECTFUL TO MY PARENTS: My parents are the reason that I can be on this team. I will respect their decisions, their time, and do everything I can to represent our family name well.
I AM: RESPECTFUL TO THE OPPONENT: No matter how close a meet might become, I will respect the athletes I compete against. They are also trying to learn and get better. I will speak with Coach Beers or my Event Coach if I have any problems.
I AM: RESPECTFUL TO THE OFFICIALS: I understand that no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. I will respect the decisions of the officials and speak with Coach Beers or my Event Coach if I have any problems.
I AM: RESPECTFUL TO THE BUS DRIVER: I will sit in my seat and follow the rules of the bus driver as we ride to away meets. I will be quiet and pick up after myself before getting off of the bus. I will also thank the bus driver for their time and getting me and my teammates to and from our destination safely.
